The El Centro Police Department is investigating two accidents , one that occurred late Thursday night and the other early Friday morning.

According to police reports , the first accident was reported at about 11:20 p.m. Thursday. A car struck a house near 6th and Aurora. No injuries were reported but a 59-year old woman was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. 

Shortly after 2:00 a.m. Friday morning a van ran over a utility pole at Imperial and Elm in El Centro. The vehicle sustained major damage , the utility pole was knocked down but there were no apparent injuries.
