A San Luis , Arizona man died Thursday following a head-on collision.

According to the Yuma County Sheriff's Office , at about 11:15 a.m. Thursday , a car traveling northbound on Highway 95 near County 20 1/2 Road collided head-on with a car that was southbound on Highway 95. The southbound car was driven by Salvador Ulloa , 66 , of San Luis , Arizona , who apparently veered into the path of the northbound car. Ulloa was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the northbound , 22-year old Anna Alvarado of San Luis , sustained major injuries. The accident remains under investigation. According to YCSO , alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the accident.
