(Five scholarships awarded)…They went to Heber residents.

The recipients were announced this week. El Toro Land and Cattle presented the scholarships. They said the awards were their way of giving back to the community. The $2,000 Bull Scholarship went to Bethamee Garcia. Naomi Guzman and Bianca Vargas were each awarded a $1,000 Steer award. A $500 Calf scholarship went to Vianca Carruth and Katherine Bramosco.
