It is on occupational employment and wages. According to the report, the El Centro Statistical area had an average hourly wage of $22.61 in may 2019. That is about 12 percent below the National Average of $25.72. The report indicated the local area wages were higher than the National Averages in 4 of the 22 major occupational groups, including protective services, educational, instruction and library. Ten groups had significantly lower wages than the National average, including legal, management, and computer and Mathematics.
