The Imperial County Public Health Department issued updated numbers on the COVID-19 pandemic's affect in the county.

The Wednesday afternoon numbers show another death was reported. That is the tenth death in the Valley attributed to the novel coronavirus. The number of positive cases went from 400 to 419 but the number of active cases    only increased by 1 , from 210 to 211. Individuals who have recovered went from 181 to 198. With increased testing available in the Valley the number of positive cases is expected to increase. No information on the latest death was released by the Health Department.
