Imperial County will reopen outdoor recreational facilities Saturday.

County Regional Parks  , private and public golf courses and other outdoor recreational areas will reopen with limited access. The outdoor areas may be used for jogging  , walking , biking and other non-contact activities. Some restrictions and guidelines remain in place:

* Do not visit any of the areas if you are sick or if you were recently exposed to COVID-19. 

* Stay at least six feet from others. Do not go into a crowded area or visit a crowded park.

* Use a face covering.

* Avoid gathering with others outside of your household.

* Do not use basketball courts.

* Park restrooms , playgrounds and playground equipment will remain closed. 

County Regional Parks that will reopen include Sunbeam Lake Park , Wiest Lake Park , Red Hill Park and Palo Verde Park.
