Border Patrol agents arrested a man  with methamphetamine , marijuana , hashish , bulk cash and multiple firearms in his car.

The incident occurred Wednesday at the Interstate 8 checkpoint east of Yuma. A Border Patrol canine alerted to the Subaru Outback the man was driving and he was then referred to secondary inspection. Agents discovered the drugs , a pistol and a shotgun as well as a large amount of currency in the vehicle. The driver , a 38-year old U.S. citizen , was arrested and turned over to the Yuma County Narcotics Task Force for prosecution.
