There are five more confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Imperial County.
The Imperial County Public Health Department says that there are now 38 individuals who have tested positive for the virus. There are another 14 cases that are pending results. So far in Imperial County 229 people have been tested with 177 negative results.
County Health Officer Dr. Stephen Munday has said that we can expect to see more cases in the coming weeks as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to grow. The stay at home order that went into effect about two weeks ago has been extended through the end of April.
