The California Department of Fish and Wildlife ( CDFW ) has awarded money from the 2020 Proposition 1 Program.

More than $321,000 has been awarded to River Partners for the Alamo and New Rivers Riparian Habitat Restoration Planning and Permitting Project According to their website River Partners " connects a bold vision of bringing life back to rivers with the hard , detailed work of rebuilding wild places , creating homes for wildlife , and improving our landscapes for the benefit of future generations." Since 1998 , River Partners has channeled $125 million toward restoration of 12,000 woodland acres throughout California.
