(California Presidential Primary Election)….It is March 3rd.

County elections has mailed out the Vote By Mail Ballots. The last day to register to vote in the Primary is February 18th. February 25th is the last day to apply for a Vote By Mail ballot. Local races on the ballot include; County Supervisor District 2, Claudia Marie Camarena running against Incumbent Luis Plancarte. County Supervisor District 3 and 4, incumbents Michael Kelley and Ryan Kelley respectively running unopposed. The race for Imperial Irrigation District Division 2 features Ryan Childers, John Brooks Hamby, incumbent Bruce Kuhn, and Dilda McFaddin. Imperial Irrigation District Division 4 features incumbent Erik Ortega, Joong Kim and Javier Gonzalez. U.S. House of Representatives District 51 has Juan Hidalgo Jr. and incumbent Juan Vargas. State Assembly District 56 has America Figueroa and incumbent Eduardo Garcia. Also on the ballot, Measure P, Imperial Unified School District’s $30 million Bond Measure. Polls will be open March 3rd from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm.
