ECRMC underwent a rigorous , unannounced onsite survey. During the review, a team of Joint Commission surveyors evaluated compliance with hospital standards related to areas such as emergency management , environment of care , infection control and several other areas. Dr. Adolphe Edward , Chief Executive Officer of ECRMC said , " ECRMC is proud to receive once again , such a prestigious honor from the Joint Commission, the premier health care quality improvement and accrediting body in the nation. Receiving this accreditation highlights the exceptional care that our teams provide to our patients." The El Centro hospital has been accredited by the Joint Commission for more than 30 years.
