(Imperial School goes into lock-down)…It was only for a short period.

The action at Frank Wright Middle School was prompted by police activity near-by. A suspicious man was seen Thursday walking near the school. It reportedly appeared like the man was carrying a gun. Police arrived at the scene and took the man into custody at gunpoint. Officers found a toy gun with an orange tip near the suspect at the time of arrest. Officials say the man initially complied with the officer’s commends, but he began to resist when the officer’s approached him. The officer’s were able to take the man into custody without incident. He was booked into County Jail, charged with resisting arrest and other charges.
