A large rock hit a car on Interstate 8.

 .According to the California Highway Patrol , at about 3:10 p.m. Wednesday . a boulder rolled off the hill and smashed into a car that was traveling east on Interstate 8 near In-Ko-Pah. Two people in the car suffered minor injuries. Both eastbound lanes were blocked for a time , one lane was opened after about 30 minutes and both lanes reopened about 4:35 p.m. The car received major front end damage.
