The National Weather Service says to expect strong winds Saturday.
Locally strong winds of 20-30 miles per hour with isolated gusts up to 50 mph are forecast for Saturday afternoon and evening for portions of imperial County and eastern Riverside County. The winds will continue into Saturday evening before subsiding on Easter Sunday. The NWS expects a gradual cooling trend will take hold through early next week but temperatures will be near or slightly above seasonal normal. A warming trend will then commence towards the end of the week with temperatures in the Imperial , Yuma and Mexicali Valleys hitting triple digits.
