(Celebrating Arbor Day)…They will be in El Centro.

It will be an Imperial Valley Urban Forest El Centro Arbor Day Event. It will be held on Saturday, April 20th, beginning at 10”00 am. The event will be held in the 1900 block of North Waterman Avenue, South of El Centro Firestation 3. It will be a kick-off event to honor the first Urban Forestry program in the desert region; Imperial Valley Urban Forest. Participants will help plant trees in El Centro’s newest park, funded by Measure P. The trees will play an important role in providing clean air and shady places to play and exercise. The public is encouraged to attend.
