(Point in Time Count is over)…It was held over the weekend.
It is a Continuum of Care Council project. It is conducted annually. This year around 190 volunteers participated in the count and survey of the homeless population in Imperial County. The results will determine grant possibilities to assist and help the homeless. The totals from this year’s Point in Time Count are not yet available. A representative from the Continuum of Care Council advised the Board of Supervisors that they were interested in expanding the private sector participation in the Council. He asked the Board if they could recommend participants from the five supervisorial districts in the County.
