(El Centro Police respond to an incident)…It was reported at 5:18 Tuesday evening.
Commander Aaron Real says officers responded to a residence in the 1600 block of Southwind Drive. The Commander said the original call was regarding a possible violation of a court order by a person believed to be at the residence. He said when officers arrived there were indications led them to believe the call involved a possible suicidal person inside the residence. With the assistance of the Customs and Border Protection k-9 they attempted to surround the location and make contact with the person in the residence. When that failed, officers entered the residence and found a male body in one of the rooms. They described the man as a male suicide victim. The county coroner’s office was called to assist in the continued investigation.
