A traffic accident at Bonds Corner Road and Snyder Road resulted in major injuries to one person.

The accident was reported at 6:20 a.m. Thursday when a vehicle apparently ran off the road and ended up in a canal. A victim was airlifted from the scene by REACH Air Ambulance with what were described as major injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
