A magnitude 3.0 earthquake was recorded Tuesday night near Ocotillo Wells.

The small temblor was recorded at 10:05 p.m. by the CISN Southern California Management Center , with an epicenter 4.6 miles east southeast of Ocotillo Wells , about 32 miles west northwest of Brawley. There are no reports of injury or damage.
