County officials say there are no official numbers, yet. A report was given to the County Board of Supervisors Tuesday morning. According to the report, about 60 percent of the registered voters in Imperial County Vote by mail. Officials said by mid-morning approximately 23 percent of the vote by mail ballots had been processed. Enhanced voting was being attributed to the deliberate push by the County to increase voter registration. The mobile voting unit being parked in front of the County Administration building in El Centro was also attracting an increased number of voters. Polls remain open until 8:00 pm. Election updates should be available soon after the polls close. They will be available on KXO am 1230, FM 107.5 and on the website, kxoradio.com. The County website will also have election updates throughout the evening.
