San Diego State University President Adela de la Torre will visit the SDSU Imperial Valley campus on Wednesday.

Dr. de la Torre became president of the university in June of this year. She is the first woman to serve in that role. A public reception will be held Wednesday from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Rollie Carrillo Quad on the Calexico campus.
