Brawley Police have three suspects in custody following a report of a potential threat of violence at Brawley High School.
According to Commander Brett Houser of the Brawley Police Department , the Brawley Union High School administration contacted police after a parent reported a potential serious threat of future violence at the school. A criminal investigation was begun and during the course of that investigation , three juveniles were identified as possible suspects. Two of the juveniles were taken into custody Sunday afternoon. The third juvenile suspect was arrested Monday morning at the Brawley Police Department. Houser stressed that there are no ongoing public safety concerns at the high school and there were no interruptions of the regular class sessions. All three suspects were booked at Imperial County Juvenile Hall and charged with conspiracy to commit felony criminal threats.
