(Two more county departments Merged)…The Board of Supervisors took the action this week.
Workforce Development is merging with Community and Economic Development. County CEO Tony Rouhotas told the Board at their meeting this week, the action would create a one-stop shop. The Supervisors proceeded to take action on several requests that would create positions and eliminate others to allow the entities to operate separately but under the same department. Human Resources said they expect the county to see a $16,000 annual saving as a result of the merger.
