(APCD hosts two workshops)….Both were held Wednesday.

One was in Calexico and the other was in Westmorland. The air district was created in 2017 following the passage of Assembly Bill 617. It provides a community-focused action framework to reduce exposure to pollution within disadvantaged communities most affected by air pollution. Both Calexico and Westmorland have been identified as disadvantaged, or low-income communities. The results of the workshops will be submitted to the state for their review.
