(CBP Officers seize meth)…In two incidents.
The first incident occurred Monday. A 41-year-old Mexican National and his Honda truck were referred to the secondary inspection area at the San Luis, Arizona Port. A canine alerted to the vehicle. Officers searched and found nearly 71 pounds of methamphetamine, worth almost 212,000. The second incident occurred the following morning. A 19-year-old San Luis, Arizona resident was driving his Ford truck across the border. A canine alerted to the vehicle, and officers discovered 53 pounds of meth in the vehicle’s fuel tank. The estimated street value was set at $158,000.
