. The Air Quality Symposium and Celebration is being held at the Twin Dragon on Yourman Road near Heber. Imperial County exceeds the California standards for Particulate Matter and according to the California Tracking, the County has the highest rates among California Counties for both emergency hospital visits and hospitalizations for asthma in school children. According to the California Air Resources Board, in 2015 the Salton Sea Air Basin had 128 days that exceeded the federal standards for particulate matter.
