It's Labor Day Weekend.

For many it's three days off. On Monday, Labor Day, a federal holiday, all non-essential government offices will be closed. Banks will be closed and there is no school. This is also the first weekend of Dove Season. Traditionally dove hunters visit the Imperial Valley for the opportunity to get together with old friends and look for the fast-flying birds. If the weather cooperates there should be plenty of opportunities for the hunters.
