(Mexico's Independence Day is September 15)....Calexico is getting a headstarrt.

They are hosting Viva Mexico. The event will be held September 1st and will commemorate Mexico's Intependence  Day. It will feature an art exhibit, live music and folkloric dancing. The event is being hald at the Carmen Durazo Cultural Arts Center on Heffernan in Calexico. It is being funded in part by the Calexico Arts Council and the California Arts Council Contact the Calexico Arts Council for more information.
