Seasonably hot temperatures and high humidity are forecast for the coming week.

The National Weather Service says with high pressure shifting into the Great Plains, daily shower and thunderstorm chances will continue through the region into this week. Seasonably hot temperatures will persist through the next several days resulting in widespread moderate heat risk. Highs will generally ranging 105 to 110 through Tuesday and 108 to 113 by Wednesday. Shower and thunderstorm activity should increase by Thursday and continue into the weekend. If storms develop we can expect strong gusty winds, lightening and brief heavy rainfall.
