It is the 2026 Latino/a Educational Advancement and Distinction Awards. The award is from the California Latino School Boards Association. The statewide recognition honors district leadership teams that exemplify exceptional leadership, innovation, professionalism and an unwavering commitment to advancing educational opportunities and outcomes for Latin/a and at-promise students. The award recognizes the collective efforts of a district's Board of Trustees, Superintendent, and cabinet in creating lasting, positive impacts for students, staff, families and the community. Only 7 District in the state received the award.
