(A school gets a new name)......Thursday the Calexico Unified School District Board approved the change.

 Cesar Chavez Elementary School will have a new name. It will be Desert Valley Elementary School. They are currently working with the California Department of Education to finalize the formal name change process. They expect the school will have its new name by the start of the next school year.
