(County Board of Supervisors met this week)...At the meeting, the Board discussed the preliminary budget.

The spending plan is for fiscal year 2026-2027. At $797.3 million, the recommended budget is $33 million higher than the previous budget. General Fund revenues are projected at $145.8 million. The Supervisors approved the preliminary budget Tuesday. Formal Budget hearings begin August 18. The budget is expected to be officially adopted September 22.
