(Congressman champions two events)...Congressman Raul Ruiz says he will champion Imperial Valley growth with two events in one day.

The first event was this morning. The Cordoba Corporation Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony was held at 1671 West Main Street in El Centro. The second event this afternoon is a federal check presentation in Westmorland. The Congressman is presenting a $1,015,000 federal check to the City of Westmorland for the construction of a new Public Safety Building to replace a Fire Station Destroyed by Tropical Storm Hilary.
