The California Secretary of State has released the latest numbers in Districtwide races.

In the State Assembly District 36 race incumbent Republican Jeff Gonzales leads with 29,702 votes. Ida Obeso-Martinez has 15,991, Oscar Otriz 13,644 and Tomas Oliva 6.051. Unless Gonzales gets over 50% of the vote there will be a runoff in November.

State Senator Steve Padilla has 92,208 votes with challenger Art Hodges getting 53,453 votes.

Representative Dr. Raul Ruiz is leading in the U.S. House of Representative District 32 race. Ruiz with 72,006 votes. Joe Males has 23,782 votes, Ronald Huffman has 15,115 votes and Ceci Andrade Truman 10,751.
