(Local Food Bank to receive a major donation).....Tuesday a 40,000 pound food donation will be delivered.

The Church of Jesus Christ is collaborating with America 250 by sending food donations to 250 food banks across the nation. It is part of a nationwide effort. The Imperial Valley Food Bank was chosen as one of the recipients. The public is welcome to attend the delivery event, but it will not be a food distribution event. The new donation will be added to the current storage of food, allowing the Food Bank to help more families in need..
