(IID recognizes their Zanjeros)...It is Zanjero appreciation week.

For those who don't know, Zanjero's are among the most important group in the Imperial Irrigation District system. They are the ones who get up real early to ensure water orders ar delivered accurately. They keep the Colorado River Water moving. The IID board of directors and management team extended their appreciation to all zanjeros and Water Department employees for their dedication, professionalism and continued service to the Imperial Valley community.
