Border Patrol agents find 19 people hiding)...Earlier this month in San Diego, Border Patrol agents were using a remote Video Surveillance System.
They were inspecting the drainage tunnels. In one of the tunnels, they found 19 people in the process of illegally crossing into the United States. The agents safely arrested 16 adults and three unaccompanied children. All are citizens of Mexico. Among the adults arrested were two men with criminal histories. 35-year-old Raudel Carrillo Padilla and 31-year-old Ivan Carrillo Padilla are brothers who were previously deported back to Mexico. Both were convicted in 2017 for possession, transport, and intent to sell methamphetamine out of Yreka, California. Ivan had also been arrested in a 2019 drug-related interdiction stop in Eugene, Oregon. The court ordered him deported in that incident, as well. All 19 were processed for deportation.
