The Central Union High School District (CUHSD) Board of Trustees reinforced a commitment to inclusion.

The board declared April 2 as World Autism Awareness Day and the month f April as World Autism Month. The district has partnered with the local Autism Support of Imperial County (ASIC) by providing space for the ASIC Mobile Diagnosis Unit. Additionally, the district hosted a Unified Olympics event at Central Union High School. The event brought together students from Extensive Support Needs program across Imperial Valley schools for a day celebrating student achievement, encouraged participation and provided inclusion through athletics and community engagement.
