Imperial County Superior Court Judge Eran Marie Bermudez has been nominated for the Fourth District Court of Appeals, Division One.

Governor Gavin Newsom announced the nomination Thursday. Bermudez has served as a Judge in the Imperial County Superior Court since 2018. Judge Bermudez received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. She fills a vacancy created by the retirement of Justice Richard Huffman. The position requires confirmation by the Commissinon Judicial Appointments.
