(CBP says Trust, but verify) .....Over a million dollars' worth of cocaine seized.

US Customs and Border Protection officers recently seized more than 60 pounds of cocaine from a vehicle driven by a trusted traveler. It happened at the San Ysidro Port of Entry. Officers referred a 25-year-old male, US Citizen, driving a 2020 Honda for a secondary inspection. The driver was a participant in the SENTRI program. During the secondary inspection, nonintrusive imaging technology revealed anomalies in the vehicle's doors. A canine also alerted to the area. A physical inspection revealed 20 packages containing 60.14 pounds of cocaine, with a street value of more than 1.1 million dollars Officers seized the vehicle, narcotics and two cell phones. The driver was arrested and will face federal prosecution.
