El Centro Police are investigating a Saturday murder.

Officers responded to the area of Orange Street and the railroad tracks at 12:29 p.m. Saturday. First responders located a 47-year-old man wit multiple stab wounds. Medical aid was initiated at the scene and then the victim was taken to El Centro Regional Medical Center where he died. According to El Centro Police, no additional details are available at this time but the nurder appears to be an isolated incident.
