(Bicyclist hit by a vehicle)...It was reported at around 10 pm Friday Night.

The California Highway Patrol says the incident occurred on Brown Road just north of Evan Hewes Highway. The preliminary investigates a man was riding his bike in the middle of the road when he was hit by the vehicle. The man suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment. The Highway Patrol says apparently alcohol was involved in the incident.
