An early Sunday morning shooting resulted in the death of a Brawley man.

Brawley Police responded to the report of a shooting in the 1600 block of I Street at about 6:50 a.m. Sunday. Arriving officers found an unresponsive male with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. Life-saving measures were administered at the scene and then the victim, a 43-year-old Brawley man, was taken to Pioneers Memorial Hospital where he died. Brawley Police are investigating the murder and ask that anyone with information contact the department.
