( The County Supervisors met last Tuesday)....They were presented a resolution to fund the remodeling of a building in Brawley.

The remodeling was to benefit the Behavioral Health Department. Supervisor Ryan Kelley moved to table the vote, after Supervisor John Hawk indicated he would be voting no. The resolution needed four out of five affirmative votes to pass. With supervisor Jesus Escobar absent from the meeting, the 4 out 5 votes were not possible. It was agreed to bring the issue back before a full board at a later date.
