(Narcotics seized earlier this month)....There was a series of seizures in the San Diego area.

During the  time frame around 318 pounds of methamphetamine and nearly 72 pounds of cocaine were seized. Border Patrol agents seized over 71 pounds of cocaine in one incident near San Clemente. It was the result of a vehicle stop on Interstate 5. 25 packages of cocaine were found in the vehicle, valued at around $617,500. There were two US citizens in the vehicle. Both were arrested.
