(IID Watermaster is retiring).....Merlon Kidwell began working at the IID in September 1975.

At the end of this week, Kidwell will wrap up a 50 career with the district. The past 20 years he has been the watermaster, preparing estimates to meet water requirements for the District's water flow master schedule. The IID has had only six Watermasters since 1940. The IID has named Rodrigo Cruz as the new Watermaster, once Kidwell leaves the position at the end of the week. Cruz has 41 years experience in water dispatching at the district
