The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is removing age limits for new hires.

The department said that to meet the goal of hiring 10,000 new staff members. Currently Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) applicants must be 21 years old and no older than 37 or 40, depending on the position. The new guidelines means that applicants minimum age is now 18 and there is no cap on how old you can be. The Department of Homeland Security is the primary agency for immigration enforcement and has received a significant bump in the budget to expand hiring.
