The Imperial County Board of Supervisors approved an agreement with Catholic Charities.

The board allocated $1,183,000 for the Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention (HHAP) Program Round 4 Day Center Project. The project will enhance local efforts to address homelessness by expanding access to essential services including hygiene facilities, case management, and housing navigation. The funds are allocated through May 31, 2027. 

The board, acting as the Air Pollution Control Board, approved an amendment to increase funding by $470,000 for the paving project with El Centro Elementary School District under the Community Air Protection Program. The funds will support cleaner air and safer school environments according to the board.
