The salary will be determined by qualifications. The Board of Supervisors determined the CEO salary would be determined by the applicant's qualifications. The range is between $230,000 and $290,000. The search for a new CEO is now underway. The new CEO would fill the vacancy left by Miguel Figueroa, who was recently dismissed from the position. The County has still not revealed a reason for the dismissal. The Supervisors also set the salary range for a new Clerk of the Board of Supervisors. That position became vacant the same day as the CEO position.
