(Calexico Police where looking for a suspect)....Police say he had approached an exchange house recently.

He demanded $6,000. He had handed the teller a note demanding the money. The suspect became impatient and fled. The teller called police and reported the incident. A few days later the man was seen re-entering the United States at the Calexico Port. Police were called and they placed the suspect under arrest. Police interviewed the suspect and he assured them he had acted alone and was not a member of any criminal organization. He was booked into County Jail charged with fraud and attempted robbery.. The suspect , a resident of Mexicali was not identified.
